Accessories Information

Posted: 4/30/2023

This post will serve as a brief overview of the different accessories that we offer, information about their specifications, and what their purposes serve. We will review our monitors, speakers, mice, adapters, mousepads, and storage options.

Our monitors all have specifications listed beneath them. Their size, resolution, refresh rate, response time, panel type, curve, and ultrawide information are listed. The size of a monitor is a diagonal measurement in inches. The resolution of a monitor is how many pixels are in each monitor. Standard resolutions are 1920 x 1080, 2560 x 1440, and 3840 x 2160. These resolutions are known by the terms 1080p, 1440p, and 4K, respectively. The higher resolution of the monitor, the crisper the image will appear. However, if you are playing games, the higher the resolution of your monitor, the more difficult it is for your computer to render the frames. You will require a higher-end GPU for gaming on a 4K monitor compared to a 1080p monitor. The refresh rate of your monitor measured in “hz” is the number of times per second the image refreshes on your monitor. The higher this value, the smoother the movement will feel. Standard monitors are normally 60hz, with many of the monitors we offer having a higher refresh rate. We recommend 60hz / 75hz+ for everyday use, but for gaming, having higher refresh rates of 144hz+ is recommended. The next option is response time, which is the time it takes for your monitor to switch from one color to another. The lower the number of the ms, the better. Monitors normally have between 1 ms and 5 ms for their response time, but others use adaptive or free sync. This means as long as your GPU supports it, the monitor’s response time will keep up with however fast your GPU is. Panel type in a monitor is the technology used for the screen; these options can be TN, VA, or IPS. TN is the standard budget version, while VA is similar but offers better picture quality, colors, viewing angles, and brightness. IPS goes beyond VA, offering even better quality, colors, viewing angles, brightness, and contrast. The last two options are curved and ultrawide. Curve is simply if the monitor is curved, and ultrawide is if the monitor is wider than normal to give you an extended display. In the product pictures, you can see if a monitor is curved or ultrawide in comparison.

For speakers, we currently only offer Logitech Z200 speakers. They are a great budget option with decent sound quality. We offer the Logitech G305, a fantastic budget mouse for our mice options. It is wireless with low latency and perfect for everyday use. We also offer the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT, which goes a step beyond and is an ultra-lightweight gaming mouse. We also offer a USB to CD Drive adapter for those who use CDs often. Then, we offer two different sizes of mousepads, a Logitech Mousepad that is 9” x 8” and a KTRIO Mousepad that is 32” x 12”. Our last accessory option would be storage. We offer a Sandisk 32GB Flash Drive for efficiently transporting small files and a Seagate Portable 2TB HDD for moving larger files or as a simple backup.

We hope we were able to help you have a complete understanding of the accessories we offer and the reasons for doing so.
